Earth Hour 2013

Earth Hour is coming up on March 23 with the aim of getting 10,000 people around the world turning off all their power for one hour from 8.30-9.30pm.
What will you be doing to support this cause of looking after our environment?
Some ideas of what you could do are;
-Turn the TV off and have fun with a game of spotlight.
-Get your glow sticks out and have a disco in your lounge.
-Spend the day making a lantern (if it is a balloon lantern you could let it go and watch it light up the sky)
-Make shadow puppets and have a shadow puppet show using candles.
-Go and lye down outside and watch the stars (can you make any shapes out of the stars)

Here is a video about Earth Hour for 2013. What will you be doing at 8.30 on Saturday???

So far we have each had a tomato and we have had six or seven cucumbers to pick. Today we got to share our yummy cucumbers as a reward for all of our hard work weeding and watering.
