Planting new vegetables for winter

This week the Enviro Agents spent their lunchtime getting busy in the gardens. We watered and watered and watered some more because the ground so was dry from all of our lovely sunshine. We prepared the soil so that it was aerated and wet ready for our new crops. Our summer foods had done their dash so it was time to think about what we could plant ready for winter.
One Enviro Agent donated some carrots for us to plant and we also had some broccoli, cauliflower, spinach, silverbeet, cabbage, and bok choy.
Now we just have to remember to keep them watered while the sun is still shining and hopefully we will be able to enjoy some delicious vegetables soon.
